Amana 6.5 Cu-Ft White 29-inch Front Load Gas Dryer

Our take on the 6.5 Cu-Ft White 29-inch Front Load Gas Dryer

This white front-load gas dryer from Amana offers a roomy 6.5 cubic foot drum and eleven drying cycles to suit a range of fabrics. Its Wrinkle Prevent option tumbles clothes intermittently so they stay smoother if you can't unload right away, while a cool down cycle lets fabrics settle before you take them out. Automatic Dryness Control uses sensors to watch drum temperature and ends the cycle once clothes are dry, which can help limit over-drying and keep energy use in check.

It will appeal to households that run frequent or larger loads and want a dryer that handles them with flexibility. Before buying, confirm that you have a gas hookup and an appropriate venting setup, and measure your space to make sure the unit fits your laundry area.

About the 6.5 Cu-Ft White 29-inch Front Load Gas Dryer

Generous 6.5 CuFt capacity means there's plenty of room to dry your loads with this Amana NGD4655EW-WW, which features 11 dryer cycles to provide the optimal environment for drying all your clothes. For those times when you can't unload right away, the Wrinkle Prevent option tumbles clothes intermittently to help stop wrinkles from forming. Automatic Dryness Control uses sensors to monitor the drum temperature, automatically stopping the cycle when fabrics are dry, to help reduce over drying and help you save on energy costs.

The cool down cycle gives clothes time to cool off, which helps prevent wrinkles when clothes are left in the dryer after the cycle ends.
