How We Pick

How we choose

Appliance Advantage, part of the Sale Advantage network, is an independent buying resource. We don't sell appliances. We compile and compare products from a large retailer catalog so you can narrow hundreds of options quickly.

Where our information comes from

Product details, specifications and prices come from the retailer's listings and manufacturer descriptions. The catalog is refreshed from the retailer's product feed periodically, not continuously; the date of the latest update is shown in the footer of every page ("Catalog last updated ..."). We organize the products by price range, type and brand so you can compare like with like.

How we pick

Our recommendations are based on the specifications and descriptions in those listings, not on hands-on testing. We highlight what's included, what size, fuel or hookup a product needs, and what to check before you buy.

Prices and availability

Prices on this site are a snapshot of the retailer's product feed as of the date in the footer ("Catalog last updated ..."). Prices and availability change at the retailer, so confirm the current price and specifications on the retailer's product page before you order.

How we earn

If you buy through our links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes which products we show. See our affiliate disclosure.
