Bosch 800 Series 36'' Wide Downdraft Ventilation

Our take on the 800 Series 36'' Wide Downdraft Ventilation

This Bosch 800 Series downdraft ventilation system brings cooking exhaust down into the countertop rather than above it. When it is not in use, the unit retracts fully out of view, which keeps the cooking surface looking open and uncluttered. A protective front panel helps shield the mechanism from cooking splatter, and the system supports up to six ducting configurations. It can vent outdoors or recirculate indoors using a charcoal filter.

This model may appeal to shoppers who want a streamlined look and value flexibility in how the kitchen is ventilated. Before buying, check that the 36-inch width suits your cooktop and that your countertop cutout and ducting route match the installation requirements. Confirm your ventilation approach, whether outdoor venting or charcoal-filter recirculation, and make sure the finish fits the rest of your kitchen.
