Friedrich Smart Chill Premier 12,000 BTU 115 Volt 12 EER Window Cool Only Air Conditioner with Slide Out Chassis

Our take on the Smart Chill Premier 12,000 BTU 115 Volt 12 EER Window Cool Only Air Conditioner with Slide Out Chassis

This 12,000 BTU window air conditioner from Friedrich runs on 115 volts and cools only, so it suits a single room that needs steady cooling. Its quiet design pairs insulated and reinforced casing with counterweights that cut down on vibration, and the wide discharge vents help keep front-panel noise low. A Wi-Fi connection lets you adjust settings from a smartphone, and it works with voice commands. The unit also includes a washable antimicrobial filter with a filter-check alert, a slide-out chassis for easier servicing, and eight-way airflow control with a sleep setting.

Because this is a window model, measure your window opening and the width of the unit before you commit, and make sure the window can be secured around the chassis. Confirm that your outlet suits a 115-volt connection. Shoppers who want quiet operation and app-based control will find the most to like here, while those who need heating should look at a model that offers it.
