Frigidaire Gallery 36" 5-Element Radiant Electric Cooktop in Black with Backlit LED Knobs

Our take on the 36" 5-Element Radiant Electric Cooktop in Black with Backlit LED Knobs

This 36-inch radiant electric cooktop from Frigidaire Gallery has five cooking zones and a black finish. Its EvenTemp element is designed to spread heat across the cooking surface, which can help reduce hot and cold spots under your pans. A Dual Expandable Element lets you adjust the cooking area to fit different cookware, and a Keep Warm Zone holds dishes at serving temperature. The backlit LED knobs sit on the front and light up while the cooktop is running, so you can see at a glance that it is on.

This model suits shoppers who want a wide, flexible electric cooktop with plenty of room for multiple pots and pans. Before buying, check that the 36-inch width and your countertop cutout match your kitchen, and confirm that your home has the electric hookup this model requires. Also look at the venting setup above the cooktop and how the black finish will fit with your other appliances.
