GE Profile GE Profile™ 30" Built-In Gas Downdraft Cooktop (PGP9830SRSS)

Our take on the GE Profile™ 30" Built-In Gas Downdraft Cooktop

This is a 30-inch built-in gas cooktop from GE Profile that drops its ventilation down through the surface, so the exhaust is built right into the unit rather than hanging above it. It has four sealed burners set into the cooktop, which gives you room to work several pans at once. The downdraft system is designed to pull smoke and steam away from your cooking area, keeping the kitchen feeling fresher while you cook.

This model suits people planning a kitchen update who want a clean, integrated look and prefer a gas range top with a built-in fan. Before buying, measure your countertop opening to confirm it fits a 30-inch width, check that you have a gas line available, and make sure your kitchen layout can accommodate the downdraft venting. Look closely at the finish as well so it matches the rest of your appliances.
