Our take on the 7.8 CuFt Smart Front Load Carbon Graphite Gas Dryer with Steam and Sanitize Cycle
This 7.8 cubic foot front-load dryer from GE pairs a carbon graphite finish with smart features you can manage from your phone, including remote start and stop and real-time alerts. Its Powersteam function freshens small loads and eases wrinkles in larger ones, while the sanitize cycle uses high temperatures aimed at everyday household bacteria. Extras like a light mist to cut static, a Wrinkle Care tumble that works without heat, and a Damp Alert that signals when clothes are ready for ironing or air drying round out the lineup.
It may suit busy households that want quick drying for smaller loads and more control over laundry from anywhere. Before buying, check the venting setup, since the venting options are adjustable and the unit includes a vent sensor that alerts you to blockages. Confirm that your space and hookup match the model, as the dryer is listed as a gas unit under the electric dryer category.
