KitchenAid 36" Recirculating 400 CFM Range Hood - Stainless Steel

Our take on the 36" Recirculating 400 CFM Range Hood - Stainless Steel

This 36-inch stainless steel range hood from KitchenAid is a recirculating model rated at 400 CFM, with a 65K BTU threshold that makes it suitable for use over high-output cooking surfaces. An LED task light brightens the cooking area, and push-button controls let you pick the fan speed that suits the job at hand. The Whisper Quiet system runs at a low 39 dBA on its gentlest setting, so it stays unobtrusive while you cook for guests, rising to 63 dBA at full power.

This hood suits shoppers who want a KitchenAid canopy to match a 36-inch or 30-inch KitchenAid range or cooktop. Before buying, confirm that the width matches your cooking surface and that the hood works with your gas or electric setup, since the 65K BTU rating is the key figure for higher-output burners. Check your installation space as well, and consider whether recirculating operation fits your kitchen layout.
