LG 5.0 CuFt Mega Capacity Smart Top Load Platinum Black Washer with Impeller, EasyUnload™ & AI Sensing

Our take on the 5.0 CuFt Mega Capacity Smart Top Load Platinum Black Washer with Impeller, EasyUnload™ & AI Sensing

This LG top load washer offers a 5.0 cubic foot drum, large enough to take a king-size comforter in a single load. Its flat front styling and electronic controls with an LED display keep things simple, and a SlamProof lid closes smoothly and quietly. Built-in AI sensing reads fabric texture and load size to choose wash motions and temperatures for you, and Smart Pairing can prompt a compatible dryer cycle. An impeller and independently rotating tub and motor work together to create water flow that keeps clothes moving through the cycle.

This model suits households that regularly wash bulky items or want fewer, bigger loads, and it is designed to fit well in first or second floor locations. Before buying, confirm that the available space and cutout measurements match the unit, and note the finish you prefer.

About the 5.0 CuFt Mega Capacity Smart Top Load Platinum Black Washer with Impeller, EasyUnload™ & AI Sensing

Say never again to never-ending piles of laundry—this mega-capacity washer fits more clothes in every load and helps you power through laundry day in less time. With 5.0 CuFt capacity, you can fit a king-size comforter and more in a single load, for big-time savings every week. Get the room and flexibility to clean in fewer loads.

You’ve never seen a top load washer like this. The flat front design and sleek electronic controls with LED display make it easy to get laundry day dialed in. With a style that’s right at home in 1st or 2nd-floor locations, the SlamProof™ lid is a must-have for gentle, smooth, and quiet closing, every time.

Forget about endless sorting or toggling through cycles—built-in sensors use AI technology to detect fabric texture and load size, then automatically select the right wash motions, temperatures, and more for advanced fabric care. With Smart Pairing™, the washer can even tell the dryer to select a compatible drying cycle, making it the ultimate laundry hack. A powerful jet spray, plus the tub and motor that rotate independently and in opposite directions, creates a powerful water flow that causes garments to rub against each other throughout the cycle for enhanced washing performance.

The key to our EasyUnload™ design is hidden beneath the sleek glass lid. We’ve angled the washer front for a more comfortable, ergonomic reach. Now you can easily retrieve stray items from the bottom of the tub—with no sacrifice in capacity.

The deep clean you already expect from LG top load washers, plus a deep fill option to add extra water to any cycle with the touch of a button.
