Our take on the 30-inch Stainless Steel Built-In Microwave Drawer Oven
Sharp's SMD3070ASY is a 30-inch built-in microwave drawer with a 1.2 cubic foot capacity, finished in stainless steel. Instead of a conventional door, it slides out like a drawer, which keeps the appliance out of your main sightlines and gives you more flexibility in where it sits in the room. It can be installed beneath an island, a peninsula, or standard cabinetry, or placed beside a wall oven.
This model suits anyone who wants a clean, uncluttered look and prefers to keep the microwave low and out of view rather than mounted over the range or on the counter. Before buying, confirm that the 30-inch width and cabinet cutout match your planned space, and check the venting and power requirements for your kitchen layout with the manufacturer's documentation.
