Whirlpool 17.7 CuFt Upright Freezer

Our take on the 17.7 CuFt Upright Freezer

This Whirlpool upright freezer offers roughly 17.7 cubic feet of storage, giving you room for bulk buys and batches of frozen meals. LED lighting keeps your items easy to see while using less energy than standard bulbs. A Fast Freeze setting lowers the temperature quickly to help preserve freshness, and a temperature alarm alerts you if the unit gets too warm. Frost-free defrosting means you won't need to clear out the freezer by hand, and electronic controls let you set the temperature for different foods. An optional icemaker adds a convenient source of ice.

This freezer suits households that want a lot of frozen storage and a hands-off defrost cycle. Before buying, check the space you have available, including the width and height of the opening, and make sure there is room for proper airflow around the unit.
