LG 7.3 CuFt Platinum Black Gas Dryer with AI Sensing and ThinQ® Smart Features

Our take on the 7.3 CuFt Platinum Black Gas Dryer with AI Sensing and ThinQ® Smart Features

This is a 7.3 cubic foot gas dryer in a platinum black finish, built around AI sensing that reads fabric texture and load size to choose drying motions and temperatures. Its moisture sensing adjusts drying time for loads of different sizes, so there is less guesswork at the start of each cycle. Paired with a compatible LG washer, Smart Pairing can select a matching drying cycle automatically. A Wrinkle Care option keeps the drum tumbling for a few hours after the cycle ends, and the ThinQ app lets you monitor and control the dryer remotely.

This model suits households that want hands-off drying and an LG washer and dryer pairing. Before buying, check that the space and gas hookup match the unit, and confirm venting arrangements are suitable for installation.

About the 7.3 CuFt Platinum Black Gas Dryer with AI Sensing and ThinQ® Smart Features

Forget about endless sorting or toggling through cycles. Built-in sensors use AI technology to detect fabric texture and load size, then automatically select the right drying motions and temperatures for advanced fabric care. AI Sensor Dry™ detects moisture levels and automatically adjusts drying time for loads of all sizes.

With Smart Pairing™, the washer can even tell the dryer to select a compatible drying cycle, making it the ultimate laundry hack. Run the dryer whenever you want, without interrupting naptime or your favorite show. This dryer is designed for quiet operation, from the motor to the cabinet to individual components.

A pleasant end-of-cycle chime lets you know when clothes are dry. When you hate wrinkles but can’t be there to remove clothes as soon as they’re dry, just select the Wrinkle Care option before hitting start. The dryer will periodically tumble the load for up to 3 hours after the cycle is done or until the door is opened to help keep wrinkles at bay.

The ThinQ app offers control and convenience for smart LG appliances to help you simplify life and enjoy the comforts of home. Manage your smart LG dryer remotely, download cycles, use with Google or Alexa voice assistants, and more. ThinQ Care appliances send usage, maintenance, and diagnostic alerts to notify you of potential issues and hazards like clogged dryer ducts.
