Whirlpool 36-Inch Curved Glass Island Mount Range Hood - Stainless Steel

Our take on the 36-Inch Curved Glass Island Mount Range Hood - Stainless Steel

This Whirlpool island mount range hood brings a 36-inch footprint and a stainless steel finish with curved glass to a kitchen island. Its 400 CFM motor is aimed at drawing smoke and cooking odors away from the cooktop, and the three fan speeds let you match the airflow to what you are cooking. A detachable grease filter makes routine cleaning simpler, while built-in LED lights brighten the cooking surface below.

This model suits people who want an island vent that doubles as a visual centerpiece over a cooktop. Before buying, check that the 36-inch width fits your cooking area and that your cooktop's output stays within the 65K BTU threshold the hood is rated for. Confirm your ceiling height and ductwork plans as well, since island installations depend on how the unit will be vented.
